Arrival in Kochi

Day 1

After taking your overnight flight, the tour begins with a greeting from our representative, before being transferred to the historic Brunton Boatyard Hotel, Kochi. Take the rest of the day as leisure, where you’re well placed to explore the city’s sights or simply unwind in amenities like a charming swimming pool or the soothing Ayurveda Centre.

Day 2

After breakfast, depart on a sightseeing tour of Kochi. Taking in attractions such as the historic Dutch PalaceJewish SynagogueChinese Fishing Nets and St. Francis Church. Return to your accommodation and take the afternoon as leisure, followed in the evening by a visit to a traditional dance centre where you can delight in performances of the traditional and elaborate dances of ancient India.

Day 3

Following a buffet breakfast, you will be driven to Munnar and checked in at the charismatic Windermere Estate. Take the rest of the day as leisure, where you’re free to explore the green, serene surroundings of the Western Ghats. Revealing panoramic views of low-lying clouds and rolling, misty hills that are dotted with a rich diversity of colourful flora and fauna.

Arrival in Thekkady

Day 4

Enjoy a buffet breakfast before being driven to Thekkady, where you will check-in at the charming, thatched-roof cottages of the Spice Village. In the afternoon, proceed to explore the surrounding spice lands and stroll among the enchanting network of pepper, cinnamon, ginger and cloves plantations. Before returning to your accommodation and taking the rest of the evening as leisure.

Day 5

In the morning, enjoy a buffet breakfast and then depart on a guided nature walk through the world-renowned Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. South India’s most popular national park where a stroll along the endless chain of emerald hills and spice plantations will reveal sightings of bison, wild boar, langur, elephants and maybe even the elusive tiger. After your nature walk, return to your accommodation and take the rest of the day as leisure.

Day 6

After breakfast, you will be driven to Vazhoor where you will check-in to the characterful country house at Serenity at Kanam Estate. The afternoon will then be spent meeting the elephants that live in the historic estate, as you feed, bathe and observe these majestic animals, before returning to your accommodation for lunch where you are then free to take the rest of the day as leisure.

Alleppey & Kumarakom

Day 7

Following breakfast, you will be driven to Alleppey. From where you will board your houseboat before setting off on a day cruise along the enchanting backwaters - sailing along lagoons, lakes and canals, passing storybook villages, verdant paddy fields, towering coconut groves and locals going about their daily business on the many boats. In the afternoon enjoy a lunch on-board, before in the evening being driven to Kumarakom where you will check-in at Coconut Lagoon.

Kumarakom & Philipkutty's Farm

Day 8

After breakfast, board a traditional backwater boat and sail to Philipkutty's Farm. Once here, meet the friendly family who manage the farm and learn about their day-to-day tasks, before delighting in a lunch of local specialities like Karimeen, Fish Molee and Red Hot Kerala Fish Curry. After your day at the farm, return to your charming accommodation and take the rest of the day as leisure among the first-rate facilities of Coconut Lagoon or within the spectacular surroundings of Kumarakom.

Day 9

Delight in a delicious buffet breakfast and then explore the wonders of Kumarakom. Not to be missed is a stroll along the banks of the enchanting backwaters, as you discover the no end of lagoons, palm-fringed lakes, emerald paddy fields and characterful hamlets. Observing houseboats making their daily commute along the backwaters is also a favourite pastime of many a traveller, as you sit back and admire fisherman, milkman, priests and newspaper boys going about their daily business.

Transfer to Airport

Day 10

Meet our representative at your accommodation and then make your transfer to Cochin (Kochi) International Airport from where you will take your international flight home via Dubai with Emirates.
